Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
In 2001 a man in California started
"Walk a MILE In her shoes"to raise awareness for victims of violence.
Since then it has grown into an international event with over 220 walks taking place this year. Moncton had it's first walk in 2008 and in 5 years Moncton has raised approximately $40,000!
This year they raised over $7800!
We will see you again in 2013! The walked began at the Crowne Plaza went along Main Street to City Hall and then back to the Hotel.
