    Your thoughts on "Empire?"

    Keeping in kind your personal plans for improving this country's policy-making, how would you respond to the ideas in Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri's 2000 book "Empire"? It talks at length about both the good and bad sides of national superpower, and I'd be really curious to hear how you would handle this interplay, especially considering America's international reputation.
