Final presidential debate: Unanswered questions |
We deserve better.
I know I'm a little late getting this out here, but there's reason for that. Sorry...
Still, holy cow, what the heck was that?
Last night's debate ummm...interesting?
No, more like insulting to the American public.
Vice President Biden's inappropriate actions through his derisive laughter, theatrical antics and condescending manner, even at one point toward the moderator, made a mockery of the Vice Presidency.
I personally wanted to hear what BOTH men had to say, but found myself continually distracted by the Vice President's actions.
It became obnoxious and annoying.
Now I understand that this is politics. And I agree with something I heard one of the commentators say recently:
"If you've been paying attention these past few months and you know the issues, you clearly understood everything that was said last night. Otherwise, if you think you are going to get a candidate/issue crash-course education on debate night, you are mistaken."
But don't we deserve better?
Shouldn't we be demanding it?
Don't we deserve a respectful debate where we get to hear what both men have to say without the theatrics?
What Biden did may be "normal", but if no one stands up and says, "this normal is wrong!", then we really do deserve the crap we end up with. And have no business complaining about the state of our Country.
