    Endeavour Turns in Los Angeles

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     montebubbles captured these images of space shuttle Endeavour crawling along the streets of Los Angeles, on October 12. She described the transformation of her neighborhood in preparation for the shuttle parade as exciting. 'You have to be here firsthand to see. It looks like organized chaos. Trees have been cut down. Light poles have been removed. Signs everywhere,' she says. 'It's a moment in history. We even saw newsmen asking others to take pics with their personal cell phones. I felt patriotic and fortunate that I had an opportunity to be so close to a space shuttle.'
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Since we live in the area we were able to walk to where the space shuttle Endeavour was making its turn off of La Tijera in the streets of Los Angeles.
