Who's voice is really heard in Washington? Voters or Lobbyists?
Let's face it. Politicians only pander to the electorate because they need our votes every once in a while. After they get elected, you can be sure that both Romney and Obama will quickly put voters' interests aside in order to pay back the corporate lobbyists for their monetary support.
This is not democracy. This is cheap cronyism. Both Republicans and Democrats should be appalled, but they're not. They're too busy bickering over petty partisanship.
