This iReport is part of an assignment:
Do the math: Girls + Education |
Self- confidence, Excellence, Career and More Opportunities
Girls + Education means a lot of things for me. So, I invited my colleagues from other departments and sections in my workplace to join me. We've come up with four answers, Self- confidence, Excellence, Career and More Opportunities. We based our answers on each of our experiences. We've been so lucky to be employed at a prestigious hospital which makes us excellent people. We've gained self-confidence before we got the positions that we have attained now. If there wasn't any within us, we wouldn't be here. We got better opportunities because we embraced it after all our sacrifices. And finally, we got the career that we always dreamed of.
My colleagues and I are sending this message to help in spreading awareness on the real essence of education. Each of us, was once a girl too and we empathize these girls who have strong determination towards education. As an ireporter, I am proud to have the opportunity to convey this message to three of my friends and I have encouraged them to do the same. We could continue doing #basicmath. One + Three = 4 more awareness on educating girls and more girls from around the world will get the opportunity to go to school.
