I am a Realtor in Somerset County, NJ. I've seen the Housing market take a nose dive, the sadness and despair. Also, I’ve seen the government programs (HARP, HAMP, HAFA etc…) work and save homes for many people when the banks cooperated. Mr. Romney asks often of President Obama “where are the jobs”, giving that, he said on that hidden video “for the first year he does not have to worry about jobs because they will come”. My questions are: Why does Romney ignore the 5.2 million jobs already created under President Obama? Also, the 12 million jobs Romney is promising have already projected by some economists, true? Economists have said that the policies President Obama have put in place (encourage green energy, trade agreements, investments in retraining workers for today’s workforce etc…) will potentially create 12 million jobs within the next 4 to 5 years. Or, is Romney claiming that he will create 12 million more jobs, total of 24 million jobs? Also, is it Romney’s position that government cannot assist in job creation? Romney cannot have it both ways. Thank you.
