Endeavor's Historic Crawl through Los Angeles makes a pit stop in Inglewood!
The Space Shuttle Endeavour's began its final mission, a two-day, 12-mile road trip from Los Angeles International Airport to its final resting place at the California Science Center. Truly this was a historic journey and definitely an engineering marvel as Endeavour crawled through the streets of Los Angeles at speeds up to 2 miles/hour. The trip began on Friday, and on Saturday morning, thousands of Angelenos descended upon Inglewood while Endeavour made a once-in-a-lifetime Pit stop at the Great Western Forum (the former home of the LA Lakers).
