Light Years: Your view of space and stars

    ShuttleWatch Endeavour

Drove 40 minutes from OC up to Crenshaw to see the Endeavour to make it's way through the streets of Los Angeles/Inglewood. Growing up I had always been facinated with the Space Program, and remember when the Challenger exploded on take off. Seeing the Endeavour as it first flew into the city, then on the streets filled so many with pride and joy.
The past few days I felt a community, a family throughout the city.
I know I will go and see the shuttle when she becomes open to the public, and will take my family there when they come to visit.
She is a beautiful site to be see. Knowing where she has been, her history. Such a great thing for the city of Los Angeles and for generations to come.
