    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     objectiva3 photographed demonstrations in Lisbon, Portugal, on October 13. She says the demonstrations had a large turnout with people protesting against austerity measures and the lack of cultural support in Portugal. 'I agree with the protests,' she said. 'Cuts in supporting cultural policy are destroying the identity of a country,' she said.

    The protests continue against austerity and the government in Lisbon, Portugal.

    Today -13 th October - a manifestation was organized by a group of artists to protest against austerity and no support for culture in Portugal.


    In Lisbon thousands of people were present from 8 to 80 years, against the policy of the government cuts, particularly in culture
