Endeavour's Adventure Through the Streets of LA
I hopped on my bicycle to see Endeavor and wound up riding along for about 2 miles of the journey. This was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and a day I will remember as long as I live. I enjoyed taking pictures of the people looking at Endeavor as much as I enjoyed taking pictures of the shuttle.
People were absolutely enchanted and mesmerized by Endeavor. When the shuttle left the parking lot at Sepulveda and La Tijera in Westchester, hundreds of people who had gathered to watch just ended up following the shuttle as it slowly crawled out of the parking lot. I think many people hadn't planned on actually following the shuttle; it just kind of happened. It was as if the parking lot full of people were hypnotized by what we were seeing and spontaneously began following it in an instant one float parade. You almost had to pinch yourself and ask, "Is this really happening before my eyes?"
Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
