This iReport is part of an assignment:
Do the math: Girls + Education |
Malala
What I cannot understand why is there not the same universal outrage of the shooting of a 13 year old girl who only want to get an education so that she may contribute to her society that it become a bigger and better country.
Why are not the same people who attacked American embassies expressing themselves even if its just a symbolic march through their streets. Why are they not demanding that everyone that is harboring radical Taliban members to throw them out in the streets and turn them in to the authorities.
If you cannot show your outrage over the shooting of Malala, how can you justify any violent protest because of an idiot with a camera.
In the end, no protest should ever be violent. But I sit here as a proud American waiting for my fellow muslims and non-muslim brothers to take to the streets in a symbolic march for a 13 year old girl. I am reminded of a famous quote,"IF NOT ME, THEN WHO, IF NOT NOW THEN WHEN"
Our prayers are with you Malala. God Bless You,
