1) I was personally deeply offended by the 47% remarks. I also learned how out of touch Romey is when he stated that people who are having an emergency situation such as a heart attack, can go to the ER and be treated "for free". This exact thing happened to us when my husband had a heart attack at 57. We will be paying for the hospital, doctor, lab, medications, etc for many years to come. The Ryan-Romney team has me concerned about their ability to lead, when they are clearly out of touch with what it's like to be middle-class. 2) I believe Bill Clinton when he said that NO ONE could have turned around the economy in just four years. 3) Romney's gaffes in other countries have left me with grave concerns about his ability to deal with foreign policy in a constructive way.4) The abortion issue. Personally, it would not be something I could do myself. But it is wrong to dictate to women, or anyone else for that matter, what they can or cannot do with their own bodies. The suggestion that an unnecessary procedure should be performed before an abortion is outrageous! Clearly it is designed to humiliate the woman in an already emotional situation. And then Ryan made the comment, when asked if he believed a woman should go to jail for having an abortion, he said "if it's against the law, it's against the law". That was very concerning to me.
