The Lighter Side of Space Shuttle Endeavour: No Cruising

After waiting seven hours on a sidewalk for the space shuttle, I decided to walk westward on Martin Luther King Boulevard towards Crenshaw to see what the hold up was. The law-abiding Endeavour was, indeed, not cruising. Maintenance crew members were working to get the shuttle back online while spectators get an unscheduled chance to walk up close to the orbiter and take as many snapshots and video as they want on a beautifully clear and balmy Southern California autumn night.
