The Lighter Side of Space Shuttle Endeavour: Donut Stop

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     PVPFRichardK photographed space shuttle Endeavour in Los Angeles, California, on October 13. He captured a lighter side of the shuttle as it passed by a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop. He says what struck him the most about the shuttle was its enormity. 'I grew up watching the first space shuttle launch on TV. I never imagined that we'd be saying goodbye to the shuttle program so soon, I wanted to go up in one,' he said.

Did you see Endeavour during its 12 mile trek through Los Angeles? Send in your photos and videos to iReport.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Space shuttle Endeavour seemingly stops for some donuts in front of a drive thru at the intersection of Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Los Angeles very early in the morning on October 14, 2012.
