TransCanada using eminent domain to take American land
Why did you not question the candidates on their view of TransCanada using eminent domain to take land from American landowners?
Private property rights have been trampled by the U.S. Supreme Court in its infamous Kelo Decision. Not only was the Kelo Decision a slap in the face to private landowners, but now even a foreign corporation, TransCanada (using different names in the U.S.) is forcing unwilling landowners to turn over rights to their land so that the Keystone XL Pipeline may traverse their land. They have even had a grandmother in Texas arrested for trespassing on her own property.
