Every day, I read about who is going to do what with the tax code and how it is going to benefit the little guy making less than $250,000 a year. Already, I am feeling Obama care in that I have been informed that my health insurance plan will not be accepted by my latest Health System and I will lose my doctor that I have had for many years. It took time to establish the relationship, one of trust, one of allowing him to know my darkest health issues. Now I am thrown into a pool of millions of people with the new Health Care Law trying to find a doctor. One of the greatest tax hoaxes ever pulled on American’s. As a senior and baby boomer that grew up in the days of plenty and witnessed the American good life, I struggle in trying to understand why the Government (who does absolutely nothing and doesn’t care) has declared war against us. The tax code is to be re-written excluding all tax breaks except for, pre-tax health insurance exclusion, earned income credit, and child credit. I don’t see where this benefits a senior who has paid into the system all of his life, but it does indeed help those who don’t and illegals who claim more children for credit than is ever in the household any given time. It is a money boom for them and savings loss for seniors. Elections are coming up and its one falsehood after another, trying to dope the voter into voting for two parties who shouldn’t even running. We don’t vote here in America anymore for a candidate instead we honor and bestow the Presidency to the greatest fibber. Why can’t the candidates get on the platform and tell the public how they are going trim the fat by elimination of the overcrowded useless congress and streamline congress to make it more justifiable? All the corporations are doing more with less, but with the Government, its do more with more and add to the deficit instead of balancing the budget. We don’t need all those congressman in congress because we have inventions like the fax machine, internet, and cell phones which gives all the information and resources necessary to do more with less. If the government would do their fair share, cut spending, and do something, they wouldn’t have to pick on the seniors, limit their programs for seniors, or worry about how they are going to fund Medicare and social security that they appropriated the funds from and never paid back. This planet was made for all people to live harmoniously with each other, but with a blame everything on the seniors government that is impossible.
