    Banking on Main Street

    I have been a Mortgage Broker for 30 years. Banks everywhere will not allow me to be paid and represent a prospective client for fear of retribution by the Federal Regulators scrutiny and oppressive interference in their business practices. It has crippled the Mortgage Brokerage Business in the US and in California for example the bureacracy is so stifleling it is as criminal as the problem that got us here in the first place.
    I would like to know how our representatives are going to restart the construction and real estate lending industry outside of the absolute monopoly of banks too big to fail. There is no more competition in the marketplace and that is unfortunate.
