    Character Education

     
    This year Koch Elementary School Students in Milbank SD are involved in a new character education program. Staff have developed a "code of arms" which includes, academics, community, wellness, character, and the arts. Students who complete service in two of these areas will become part of the schools student congress. Students have been very creative with their ideas. Packaging items for the military, collecting for our county food pantry, and helping the elderly. Staff are excited to see where the students are going to go with this new character program.
