    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Longtime Con-goer AKistler said that with the larger crowds, there were some changes this year, and not everyone was pleased with that. 'There were lots of fun panels but a lot more commercial panels than fan discussion panels. The few fannish discussion panels were there were put late at night. A cosplay panel became standing room only.'

    Comic book historian and longtime con attendee/panelist Alan Kistler finds a few more cool cosplayers at NYCC 2012! Characters include Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel, Deadpool, Shepard from "Mass Effect," and the crew of Star Trek TNG!
