Aurora Borealis tonight in Reykjavik,Iceland - photos

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ander photographed the Aurora Borealis in Reykjavik, Iceland, on October 14. He says the northern lights occur often in the area during the winter time because the sky gets darker every day. 'This is always amazing to see, and how the lights change colors and move around in the sky,' he said. He also points out that the blue light in the photos is from the Imagine Peace Tower, which is a memorial to John Lennon from his widow Yoko Ono. The tower projects a blue light, which is turned on in Iceland during the time of Lennon's birthday to the time of his death.
