This iReport is part of an assignment:
Do the math: Girls + Education |
Why education for girls?
I was born in Asia and now I’m living in a Europe country. I finished my secondary second grade school 1990. It was a very hard days in my country because of civil war. I saw every injustice in those period and got married when I was 22 years and it was a arranged marriage as used in my country. I came to Europe with my husband and realized that marriage was not what I dreamed for my life. I started to learn new language and got a diploma. Mean time I had a girl child. Now she is 14 years old. Five years ago I took a decision to separate from my husband. This period was very heavy sufferance for me and my daughter. Finally I got my separate judgment. I found a job because I had a diploma and I got my life free from my husband . I could support my life independently. I don’t want to add all other details how was I surfed and how my life is now. But I want to underline the importance to educate the girls and how could it help for their independence and give support for their life.
