Europe and the Social Economic Inheritance which still stirs the World by Ginet Sosemito

“You need to give the people something they can identify with, something European they can identify with.” ~ Mr. Barthel, The Schuman Center as quoted in The New York Times.

Surely Mr. Barthel is not referring to, Draghi..
Something European they can identify with..hm..now let's see. Now, the coin didn't work, vacationing on the Riviera & Costa has become unaffordable for many, besides Southern Europe is in a Total Recall of Protests.
Which leaves the people themselves, and that.. -- is where it becomes tricky.
I mean, Europe is traced back to not only Genghis Khan, Count Vlad and Hitler,
it is also traced to -- the Holocaust & the African Slave Trade of 12 Million.
Is that as described something European to identify with to be traced to, --that.
No, of course not as everyone shakes their head with concern vigorously, however,
if these traces are found, in the genes and mindset in 'subtle' ways of Society,
it would explain why, many do not 'allow' another a job or a loaf of bread on the table, rushing the Economy off the Cliffs of Normandy. There are jobs in Europe and ways to create Jobs and boost the Economy, however, the current Social Economic character is a draft on a chalkboard, of that which Europe's History tells us of what the people aspire for one another while applying that particular 'theme' consciously.
If a country and continent has secluded itself after such a history of war,
if it has secluded itself from the Globe after that, it is Sailing Social Economic Circles like the, Titanic. A story which by so many is aspired to be relived.
