    FOG ROLLS in ALONG SAN DIEGO BEACH

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     gailpowell photographed this image of a mysterious fog rolling over Kellogg's Beach in San Diego, California, on October 15. She was at the beach for an early afternoon swim and noticed the fog streaming in over the beach. 'It can get very warm in early fall and there is always fog around the coast,' she says. 'But the way it suddenly appeared & then spread all over the beach was quite picturesque.'

    San Diego has been enjoying a fall heat wave, with warm weather & temperatures in the 80's.

    This afternoon, thick fog suddenly rolled in.
