    A daughter to be proud of

    We salute our daughter Captain Heather Englehart of the Louisiana National Guard. While serving in Iraq it became known that she was an artist so the army gave her some time away from her regular duties to paint scenes from the Iraq war. One of her paintings is similar to a picture shown on the salute to troops. I attached a copy of that painting and a picture of Heather and Kyle.
    We love her and are so proud to have a brave and loving daughter like her.

    Heather and her husband Kyle are awaiting the birth of their first child, due any day now.
