    My foreign policy question

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Harry Hayfield from Wales in the United Kingdom says he wanted to put a question to the US presidential candidates about invasions of foreign nations and how the candidates see this issue in relation to the United Nations. He says no-one has asked the question so far, and because of the ongoing conflict in Syria and concern over Iran's nuclear programme, the issue has become of increasing relevance. "At the moment it's all 'what ifs' about intercessionary military response," he says. "I want to know whether the decision in 2003 was partisan and whether today it could be non partisan." Our iReporter, who describes himself as libertarian, has previously been involved in UK politics for the Liberal Democrat party, and has been watching the US presidential debates with keen interest.

My question to the candidates on foreign policy, specfically invasion of nations without a complete United Nations mandate.
