    Final presidential debate: Unanswered questions

    Women in America

I think this was a very "interesting" debate, but I would like to talk about female voters and the way both candidates addressed or refused to address real topics that pertain to women in America.

First I would like to say that Candy did a good job trying to reign the candidates in tonight. I think her presence was a great reminder to both candidates how important the female vote is in this very tight race. With that said I find it terribly offensive that both candidates seem to think that women voters only care about contraception and Planned Parenthood. I was very disappointed that when asked about equal opportunity for women in the workforce that both candidates skirted the issue to talk about healthcare and had no intelligent ideas on how to equal out the playing field.

I think both candidates need to revise their campaigns to include talking points that women actually care about and stop insulting women voters by assuming we only care about healthcare and social issues. American women care about the economy, job creation, education, taxes etc just as much as men do and it's about time the candidates step into the 21st century and start realizing that.
