    Lance Armstrong speaks out

    More from WCBlueRose

    More than Lance

I will still wear my Livestrong bracelet. I am a young cancer survivor (dx with breast cancer at 26 in 2010) and I wear it in honor/memory of a friend who died a year and a half ago at the age of 29 after a long battle with cancer. He wore his everyday and I have worn mine everyday since his death. This yellow bracelet doesn't make me think about whether Lance is guilty or not. It reminds me to make everyday the best that it can be and to not take anything for granted. My friend missed the birth of his first child by less than 2 months. He lived strong every day during his battle and I remember him and all my other friends who have died from cancer when I put it on each morning.
