Santa Barbara "Lookout" Fire in Foothills

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Edgy01 captured several images of crews dousing water on a brush fire in the foothills of Santa Barbara this morning. 'There's an area known as Painted Cave. The area is very steep, so it makes fighting fires by hand very difficult. They actually evacuated owners from the Painted Cave area and they’re putting defensive lines around the area,' he said.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

An early morning brushfire reportedly caused by a faulty power line has burned 15 acres thus far in a steep mountain side above the communities of Goleta and Santa Barbara, California. One tanker is on the scene, supported by up to 3 helicopters. With steep terrain, manual intervention will prove difficult. Evacuations are underway in the area known locally as Painted Cave.
