What Is the Obama Plan for the Next 4 Years?

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Independent moderate k3vsDad is tired of hearing Obama and Romney saying what's wrong with the other side and wants to hear what Obama's plan is for the next four years. A few months ago, he decided he would vote for Romney because of the candidate's stance on the Affordable Care Act. 'As of now, the president has not swayed my decision, however, he has given me pause, ever so slight, to keep an open mind. The big reason for this is because Romney has not been specific enough on how his tax cuts/tax deductions will play out and work,' he said. 'In order to move me to vote for the president, I need to hear a concise, clear plan of how he plans to move the nation ‘forward’ over the next 4 years without a constant barrage of the other guy’s plan doesn’t work.'
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Tuesday  night the 2 major party candidates squared off in the last national  forum before the November 6th general election to discuss domestic  issues. They will face each other again on Monday night, but that debate  will be centered on foreign policy, which also was discussed Tuesday.

This  was the last time in a nationally televised setting for both President  Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney to lay out a plan for the next 4  years. I heard, though not specific enough for my liking, a plan put  forth by Romney. A plan that deals with tax cuts, but short of details  on how to achieve those cuts and still provide necessary federal  funding.

I did not hear a plan, however, from the President on what his goals were or a plan laid out for the next 4 years.

While  I have come out in support of Romney, I always remain open if the other  candidate can provide me a reason to change my vote. So far, the  President has failed to do that.

I  heard the President do a lot of talking about what was wrong with  Romney's plan and how Romney's plan does not make mathematical sense.  But what I didn't hear was what the President would do differently or  what the President plans to do with the economy, creating an atmospher  conducive to job creation or how he would work to reduce the deficit.

It  is not enough to merely bash your opponent's ideas. You have to provide  alternative ideas and possible solutions of your own. So far, the  President has failed to do this.

The  President keeps saying, "We can't stop now." Stop what? Going in the  wrong direction? Poll after poll continue to reveal that Americans think  we are on the wrong track.

So,  Mr. President, if Americans believe we are headed in the wrong  direction, what course are you charting to put the nation on the right  track?

What is your plan to stave the economic bleeding that is sapping the life out of the nation?

What is your plan to create that environment that will encourage business to expand and start rehiring?

What is your plan to start chipping away at the unsusutainable national debt?

To  simply keep saying that Romney's math does not add up, doesn't provide  us any math of your own to peruse and see if your numbers add up.

We...I...don't need to hear Romney's plan won't work.

We...I...need to hear your plan and why it will work.

From  the Cornfield, even though Monday's format is set to be all on foreign  policy, will the President finally give us a reason to re-elect him in  November?

Will the President on Monday night finally provide us his roadmap for the next 4 years?

Will  the President offer any substantial plan to show that he understands  that Americans think we are on the wrong track, but he has a way to put  us on the right track?
