    Weekends in America

    a song for my son

today 10-18-12 is the 3 year anniversary, since baby izaiah was hit by a drunk n high driver in southern california..
we came together as a family and made a short film, which will hopefully remind
people this Holiday season, "Please don't drive drunk"
we had shelved this short film for almost a year
but now we've re-released it, the film "a song for my son" has received 209 views.
We hope to get a million before Christmas.

Who : Baby Izaiah wallis - Jacob wallis - a 30 minute film which was released last year,
for a brief 3 day Internet run, then quickly red lighted, has now been green lighted again.
also the short film has been edited in radically different way.

What : the website where people can view the film. WWW.ASONGFORMYSON.COM

WHEN : this is film newsworthy now - heres a little back story
LATE 2010- 10-18-10 baby IZAIAH AND HIS GRANDFATHER WERE HIT
BY A CAR, THE DRIVER WAS DRUNK, AND FLEEING FROM THE OCEANSIDE
POLICE NEAR THE OCEANSIDE DMV. AT FIRST, TWO DOCUMENTARIES/REPORTS WERE MADE
ABOUT IZIAH AND THE WALLIS FAMILY. NOW IS THE TIME TO
TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THE 30 MINUTE FILM . THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS THE PERFECT "WHEN". ITS A
GREAT TIME TO REMIND PEOPLE, PLEASE DONT DRIVE DRUNK. WE MADE THIS FILM TO HELP KEEP THE STORY ALIVE AS WELL AS THANK ALL THOSE THAT HELPED THE WALLIS'S IN THERE TIME OF NEED.

WHERE: THIS IS A SAN DIEGO STORY TO THE BONE! WHERE? GO TO ASONGFORMYSON.COM

WHY: THE EXISTENCE OF THIS FILM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH
THE TRADITIONAL REASONS- LIKE FAME, MONEY ETC.
NO THIS IS ABOUT HEART, AND KEEPING ISAIAH'S STORY ALIVE.
AS WELL AS PAYING BACK ALL THOSE IN SAN DIEGO THAT HELPED
THE WALLIS FAMILY, BY SENDING OUT A POSITIVE MESSAGE
FROM JACOB WALLIS AND IZAIAHS MOTHER "PLEASE DON'T DRIVE DRUNK".
WE DON'T EXPECT A FULL NEWS STORY. 10-18-10 IS NOT A DAY OF
CELEBRATION, HOWEVER I FEEL THAT THIS IS A DAY TO REMIND PEOPLE
THAT THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMING AND IF YOU DRIVE DRUNK, YOU COULD HURT
AND POSSIBLY KILL OTHER PEOPLE OR YOURSELF. THE WALLIS FAMILY HAS SELFLESSLY
USED THERE OWN STORY TO HELP DO THIS.
BOTTOM LINE IF YOU WOULD POST THE LINK TO OUR FAMILY MADE FILM
    ASONGFORMYSON.COM
ON YOUR WEBSITE IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. WE ARE NOT PRO ACTORS OR FILM MAKERS
HOWEVER MANY OF IZAIAHS FAMILY MEMBERS VOLUNTEERED TO BE IN THE FILM BECOUSE THE MESSAGE IS SO IMPORTANT. JUST WATCH FROM MINUTE 7:55 TO MINUTE 8:05 AND YOULL HEAR THE MESSAGE LOUD AND CLEAR.
