BEING MY BEST ME -A Leading Example for My Family

I'm Jenna, a 34 year old, active, stay at home mother of three children, all under the busy age of five!! It is very important to our growing family that we lead by example and be the healthiest that we can be both on the inside and out.

In saying all of that and as a non athletic person, I had some serious training ahead of me as I signed up for my very first marathon that took place less than two weeks ago. I trained hard and remained true to my personal agreement with myself. I often times trained with my children in tow and as cheerleaders on the sidelines, my family was there the entire way!

As the finish line neared so did the tears, tears of accomplishment and excitement. In that moment of my own personal glory of knowing I had conquered all three of the goals that I had set for myself, there was still an unsettled moment, what next?!

What I did not realize at that very moment was that a new passion was in the making, there was still more for this mom...A TRIATHLON!!!!!

My lofty goals of running a marathon may have been left in the dust settling in the streets of Minneapolis on my 26.2 mile trek to St. Paul but new goals were in the making.

I have learned that I can run if I put my mind to it but can this mom bike and swim too? Let's find out! I would love to have this new experience for myself and my family the whole way through. Goals, strength, love and endurance...together WE can do this!
