    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     With the steeple of the Holy Hill National Shrine in view, dayton344 shot this picturesque photo in Hubertus, WI, on October 13. The second photo shows fallen leaves surrounding a winding road near the shrine. "Both images were exciting to take. Having grown up in the Midwest, but having lived in Southwest Florida for over a year, it was great to get back to see the colors change and to hear the crunch of the leaves as I walked around," he says. "The thing I particularly love about fall is the smell of fallen leaves, pumpkin-flavored everything, exciting days and comfortable nights."

    October 13, 2012. These photos were taken at Holy Hill Basilica in Hubertus, WI, outside of Milwaukee. One photo was taken on a road near the hill, and the other was taken from atop one of the two towers the basilica has, overlooking the landscape between Holy Hill and downtown Milwaukee.
