    Big Tex Remnants

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     When BrianJAbel first heard 'Big Tex' had burned down, he couldn't believe it. "I thought my co-workers were joking," he says. Then he went to see it with his own eyes. Abel, who attends the Texas State Fair every year for work, says people taking pictures and even laying flowers where the landmark once stood. "They were doing a mini memorial; it was interesting."
