Egyptian women protest against the constituent assembly

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     arasquare told me, 'There were a few hundred and the chants were strong for a fair constitution representing all Egyptians and protecting women’s rights.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

Hundreds of Egyptian women protested against the constituent assembly. The constituent assembly is the committee for the for the creation of a new Constitution of Egypt. A preliminary draft of the Egyptian constitution was released by the constituent assembly days ago. Participants in the protest fear that some articles threaten women rights. They also called for an equal dividing of seats between women and men in the Constituent Assembly.
