    Lance Armstrong speaks out

    Lance Armstrong, we believed you

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Ringsfamily said she cut up her Livestrong bracelet in October when the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency report came out implicating Lance Armstrong. The iReporter's husband is a long-distance cyclist and they wore their bracelets off and on for eight years. She says she used to believe Armstrong's claims that he was being singled out and she would get into arguments with people, defending him. She said the sport of cycling has been devastated by the scandals. 'My husband and I watch less cycling. But when we do, we watch with a suspicious eye, knowing that each victory could have been enhanced by undetected doping.'

Responding to reports that Armstrong admitted to Oprah Winfrey that he used performance-enhancing drugs, Ring says, 'I believe strongly that Lance should tell the truth and pay back anyone he has harmed financially. He should apologize and do whatever it takes to begin the healing. Now is when the real work begins for Lance.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

My husband have followed Lance's cycling career since the beginning, read all his books an waited for hours trying to spot him in the peloton at the Tour of California. His constant denials, defamation lawsuits and negative tests led us to believe that he had not doped. Boy were we duped. I
One of the most despicable things we read is the intimidation Lance used to keep his secret. He tried to destroy his masseuse Emily and almost ruined her life. It is for this type of behavior I cut up all my yellow bracelets. Lance should come forward and tell the truth. He owes his fans and ardent defenders the truth
