    Hajj Advice 2012

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter hirahasnain documented her first Hajj for iReport in 2011 and says that for her it was "truly a lifechanging event and something you will never forget". "[It's amazing] when you think of all those who have done the exact same thing in years past and the millions who will do the exact same in the future," she says. She had several pieces of good advice for those going on Hajj this year based on her own experiences. "Be a helping hand to others around you, even people you've never met before - look out for them," she said. She also emphasises the importance of remembering and praying for others, including those who have not yet had the chance to perform the Hajj. "I hope you have an incredible experience! she says. Check out Hira's iReports from her 2011 Hajj journey.
