    The Ravaging Flood and Its Impact on the Niger Delta of Nigeria

     
    The flood water has taken over the lands, canoe and speed boats are the only means of transportation. It has also driven thousands from their home and has damaged millions of belongings.The flood has destroyed so many farmlands which imply that famine is imminent. The flood has taken over the road making it difficult for the free passage of goods and services to and from Bayelsa. Thousands are displaced, people are suffering in make shift camps. Aid from donor agencies are welcome.
