    North Fork - Glacier National Park

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iVideoMarket took a trip to Glacier National Park in Polebridge, Montana, and captured a variety of scenic photos from the area on October 17. 'Glacier Park is more or less my backyard, so I try to spend as much time as possible there. This day was my birthday, and I decided I wanted to spend the 40th in a place I love, and I did just that,' he said. His seventh image was selected as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for December 12, 2012!

    As a yearly tradition, on my birthday, I take a ride into Glacier National Park. This year, Mother Nature gave me a wonderful gift..... the incredible fall colors mixed with sun and clouds. The "North Fork" is located in the Northwest corner of Montana marking the west boundary of Glacier National Park with the Flathead River. Several mountain lakes, including Kintla Lake (photo #2), provide a stunning backdrop during any season, but the Fall is my favorite time of year to visit this area, as most days, you will likely not see another human being.
