    Salute to troops

LT Josh Kash US NAVY F/A-18 Hornet Pilot

    Video Comments:

"Hi, my name is Kacey. I wanted to send out a big salute to my husband LT Josh Kash. Josh is an F/A-18 Hornet pilot in the US Navy with VFA-37 “Ragin’ Bulls” fighter squadron in Virginia Beach. I wanted to let him know that I’m so very proud of him for all his hard work, bravery, and overwhelming love for our country. I also wanted to thank him for the endless sacrifices he makes in order to defend our great nation. It is because of great men and women like him that we live so freely in the good ole’ USA! Cheers to all of our soldiers, but more importantly to the one that has my heart, I LOVE YOU Maverick!" -Kacey

I know HLN News "Morning Express," with Robin Meade is doing something special for our troops for Veterans Day, therefore I would also like to send out a big salute to Josh's father lieutenant colonel James Kash, who worked for the United States Air Force as a Pilot and Air Operations Staff Officer from 1972 to 1993.

Josh also has his 28th birthday coming up on November 11th. It would be a honor if HLN News "Morning Express," with Robin Meade aired this salute or honored him in some special way considering all the sacrifices he makes for us. Most individuals don't realize that our troops are gone from their families for extensive training lasting weeks or possibly even months prior to their 7-9 month deployment as well. It makes life hard being away from the ones you love for such a long period of time and also not knowing what kind of danger they may encounter on a daily basis.

I saw recently that HLN took a troop, Staff Sgt. Michael Gil and his family to a New Orleans Saints game. That is awesome!! Josh and his father James Kash have been huge Dallas Cowboys fans for several years even after moving all over the United States where ever the Air Force or Navy sent them to be stationed. They would be over the moon ecstatic if they had the oppotunity to go to a Dallas Cowboys game together. LT Josh Kash is also due to deploy here soon in the next couple of months, therefore a special trip with his father to a Dallas Cowboys game would be a true blessing for them to spend quality  time with one another before Josh leaves for deployment.

Once again THANK YOU to ALL our troops!! You ROCK!!!!
