    A Fight For Justice

Last night some time, a sudden tragedy in the small town of Winnsboro, La (Franklin Parish) occurred. A 21 year old African American was first set on fire by three caucasian men while walking in the community's walking-trail and then thrown into her own car and then in addition the three men preceded in setting her car on fire while she was in it and vandalizing it with the acronyms (kkk). No one should have to be worried or be afraid to step out of there house because the color of their skin. This was a innocent young lady. I am certain that this not the only racial act that as occurred in this town but FOR ONCE WE MUST COME TOGETHER AND FIGHT FOR JUSTICE AND PEACE; not only for this young lady but also for the many others that have, will, and are still going through these things regularly. It hurts inside to know that such things of this nature are still taken place here in America; here where our grandfathers/mothers, great-grandfathers/mother ,etc... fought so that we'd NEVER have to endure or witness such hatred.

Sharmeka Moffitt is now fighting for her life not because she was selling drugs, fighting in the streets, not even because if have a fatal disease or sickness, ....SHE'S FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF HER SKIN. We need you now more than ever to help us stand up for what is right and bring peace and happiness back into her family and the town of Winnsboro.
