    Colorado Eagles vs. Idaho Steelheads

    On October 17, 2012 at the Budweiser Events Center the Colorado Eagles and Idaho Steelheads battled on the ice.
    The high scoring game went into overtime and then into a 5 shot shootout for the win by the Idaho Steelheads.
    It appeared the Steelheads had the game wrapped up in the third period when they led 6-4 but the Eagles were able to rally and score two goals sending the game into overtime. No goals were scored in overtime which then sent the game into a 5 shot shootout. The Steelheads were able to score two goals in the shootout, but the Eagles were only able to accomplish one. This gave the Steelheads the win with a final score of 7-6.
    They will play again on Friday (Oct 19) & Saturday (Oct 20) nights.
