    Riots In Beirut Lebanon

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter and freelance photographer chadysouaid captured these extraordinary images of the angry anti-Syrian protests that erupted in downtown Beirut, Lebanon on Sunday following the funeral of the country's intelligence chief, killed in a car bomb on Friday. "It was a very active scene, everyone was running around with protesters attacking the security forces," he said. "The police tried to throw smoke grenades and they shot in the air, then the protesters tried to throw the smoke bombs back at them." Our iReporter says that at present, on Monday, there has not been a repeat of Sunday's violence, although some protesters have blocked roads with burning tyres and trash cans, and there is the occasional sound of gunfire.
