No Penalties, Mr. President.
The penalty or tax under the new health care bill should be removed from the bill altogether. Regardless of the amount of the penalties over a period of time or based on income will not be popular rule now or even in the future with majority of the citizens.
In my opinion, mandating health care insurance by stick vs. carrot approach is not a smart idea.
