    Final presidential debate: Unanswered questions

    Israeli Question for Obama Answered

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     k3vsDad, who is leaning towards Romney, told me, 'Knowing that the President reaffirmed that we would stand with Israel in the event it was attacked is reassuring for world safety. However, Romney stating the US would have its back went a step farther.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

President Obama partially answered my question when asked by moderator Bob Schieffer if "an attack on Israel would be considered an attack on the US?" The President said we would stand with Israel. Governor Mitt Romney, however, went farther by stating we would have Israel's "back".

    My question:

President Obama, if between now and election day if Israel launches a preemptive strike against Iran, how will your Administration react? Will you take a position siding with Israel or criticize the Israeli action?
