Foreign Policy Debate Romney vs Obama
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
When it comes to foreign policy both candidates must agree, after all it is our security and world peace at stake. Romney agreed on many issues of the Obama administration's policies on this matter. But not on withdrawing funds from our military, something I agree on. Our country needs to stay strong, we can't be seen as being weak to our enemies, that's just common sense. Obama wants to reduce the military, Romney wants to add to it. What do you want?
Romney stated the economy plays a very important role in foreign policy. He should know, he is the economic guru and he can help our country get back on track. We already know Obama really has no clue about economics.
During the debate Obama continued his attack on Romney, so much so that Romney had to tell him at least twice that attacking him isn't talking about your agenda (or something like that). I can't tell you how many times Obama called Romney a liar again, geesh!
When Romney talked about Obama's "apology tour" Obama totally sidestepped the issue.
This last debate (thank God) so far shows 48% Obama and 40% Romney. It will probably take a few days to see who gets the "bump".
