CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Teacher Barbara Biran, who looks after 6th graders in Saratoga, California, sent in this video to iReport of one of her young students reading out a specially composed poem for Malala Yousufzai, the Pakistani teenage education activist shot by the Taliban earlier this month. "I discussed with my class on Sunday - starting off with leading questions like: 'Do you value your education? Do you believe it is a right for everyone - no matter where or what gender - to have an education?'" she told CNN. "I asked if any of them had heard about Malala – none had - so I gave a brief overview of the atrocious act by the Taliban and that Malala is recovering in the UK. "I left it up to the class to decide what to do. A group made a video and [this girl] decided to write this poem. She created it in about five minutes."
