Republicans Trying to Murder You: Global Warming
I watched a FrontLine program on PBS last evening (PBS, probably why Republicans want to get rid of it) that chronicled Republican efforts to make the science of global warming another "dinosaurs lived with humans" campaign.
It was sad to see how many American's (mostly on the political right) that have been mislead so easily by this effort to bring forth doubt about the science that is clearly saying global warming is all wrong.
In their efforts the Republicans have employed several scientist of their own. 90% of them are the same people, the same scientist that fought against government efforts to educate the public about the dangers of smoking cigarettes and worked for the tobacco industries.
These are the same scientist that claimed acid rain didn't exist and wasn't man made. The same folks that said pesticides like chlordane which has now been directly linked to child cancers, neuroblastoma, leukemia, chronic infections, bronchitis, asthma, sinusitis, infertility, neurological disorders, aggression and depression among many other problems didn't have any risk. And this is only one pesticide these same scientists have protected.
In other words, the Republicans have employed the same scientist to attempt to cast doubt on global warming science that did the same for all the other things that have been proven to kill, disfigure, make sick, and in general seriously harm humans if not murder them out right.
Under the strict definition of murder, the effort is absolutely murder. The efforts in the past were premeditated and planned; that my friend is called murder. The current efforts are also planned out, that too is murder.
On the program when these people were confronted with the fact that 98% of the world's scientist concur that global warming is a serious risk to humans, and that humans are almost exclusively responsible for this current trend of the globe heating up, they openly admitted that their efforts are to confuse the issue and cast doubt on the science itself.
Not that it's not really happening, but more because they have tied their efforts into a larger one that names; "Freedom, free markets, and the American way" as their overall agenda and goal. Of course these words are nothing more than generalization terms used mostly in propaganda like in Nazi Germany, but they are needed if the groups are to get most of their funding from private Republican groups, Exxon Mobile, the coal industry and others in this category.
Even more sad is that the population of the United States is the only one in the industrialize world that has any doubts at all about the legitimacy of global warming science. And, the uneducated, under developed populations like those in Iran, Mexico and Afghanistan and al the others almost exclusively believe in the scientific validity of global warming science.
The conservative part of the population of the United States is the only one on the globe that carries this ignorance. But it's no mistake. This has been an effort by the Republican Party and those who support them to do this. Like; Dinosaurs walked with humans 8 thousand years ago, that type of propaganda effort.
Moreover though, the efforts will result in the same ending, the same statistics, the same deadly results as they did with smoking, pesticides and all the other things these same people, these same groups defended in the past.
It's premeditated, the entire effort, which is an actual direct intent to murder you, your children, the family, friends and all others on this globe for the sake of frightening people to gain power.
Nature on the other hand doesn't care about politics as it didn't with cigarettes smoking. At the end of the day, cigarettes smoking still kill hundreds of thousands of people each year in the U.S. and millions worldwide.
Nature isn’t going to care what the Republicans, Fox News and any Conservative claims or does to mislead and confuse people, she won't care. She will still deliver, food shortages, droughts, fire, devastating storms, lose of land from sea level rise, record heat, death and decay to livestock and humans, and that's just the beginning.
It's difficult to see this cloud still looming while the economy is still struggling. But nature doesn't care, her clouds of doom are not dependent on Republican and Conservative Politics. She marches forward regardless and when she arrives on your door step to claim someone you know, you'll know who and where to point for the reasons when she comes came with such vengeance and deadly intent. You'll know the 98% of the scientist were right. And, you'll know the loses you are soon to endure were all orchestrated by the Republicans and Conservatives for the sole purpose of gaining power to keep doing more of the same that got us here to begin with.
Ask yourself; are these the types of people, the types of leaders, the types of people you want as your leaders? Your friends? Part of your belief system? Those willing to murder you and those who you care for?
If 98 out a a 100 doctors told you that you needed to treat your childs' cancer they developed from cigarettes smoking or they'll die. And, 2 doctors that worked for the tabocco industry told you they didn't have cancer from cigarettes smoking and not to worry about it; would you really believe the 2 doctors from the tobacco industry? Would you risk your childs life in that manner?
Now ask yourself about global warming with far deadlier consequences to far more people in the same context.
Those are the people (The Republicans) who want you vote of election day, the ones that claim your child could never develop cancer from cigarettes smoking don't forget that.
Remember that question on election day and ask yourself if you really want people like that running your country.
