This iReport is part of an assignment:
San Francisco Giants; Fans are loud, and proud.
Once again the San Francisco Giants are in the World Series, and once again the scene outside AT&T park is interesting and unique. And again the SF Giants fans show us they are the best fans in the United States.
You may recall the San Francisco Giants were in the World Series in 2010, and I covered the scene outside the park.
I covered the scene outside the park because the fans are unique, loud and put out the rally call. It is common knowledge that the baseball players can hear the fans outside the park, and it is common knowledge that the fans energize the players.
The first game of the World Series ended in an 8 to 3 win (Giants), and SF Giant third baseman Pablo Sandoval joined the ranks of Babe Ruth and Reggie Jackson by hitting 3 home runs off of Justin Verlander and Al Alburquerque. That has only been accomplished by two other players in baseball history.
The San Francisco Giants has some of the best fans including dogs. I included a picture of a dog named Gizelle. She is a proud SF Giant fan. The scene outside the stadium is truly San Francisco, loud, proud and one big party.
