I always love to tell about the organized burn of an old farm house that was next to our home a few years back. The properties were once part of a huge tobacco plantation back in the day. When we lived next door the family still raised tobacco and used the old house to strip and hang the tobacco to dry. Eventually the government paid off the farmers so they would plant other crops such as corn, wheat, hay or soy beans. The house was no longer used and the city condemned it.
Now my cats delighted in going into the creepy old place to mouse hunt or just explore. Every evening I would have to go into the creaky, dilapidated house to track them down. At first I was a little apprehensive and always had the willies every time I had to in and up those stairs. After a while I was more comfortable but still had a strange, unexplainable feeling.
It was announced there would be a planned burn by the fire department. Our house would be watched as well and sprayed with water, along with the ground and trees around us. About an hour before the firemen arrived I took one last peek in the old house to make sure none of my kitties were in there. I took my camera to snap some photos knowing that sometimes things show up in digital photos.

The next day when I moved the images to my computer I could not believe what I was seeing....Are they energy from spirits or entities?. Or is it dust on the camera lens? I have no idea, but it always makes a great story.I will say I never noticed an orb in any photos on my house until after the burning of the old haunted house.
